Wayne Co, MI – Several Injured in SB I-75 Ramp Crash at Eureka
Wayne Co, MI (April 15, 2025) – An injury crash occurred on Tuesday, April 15, on southbound I-75 at the exit ramp to Eureka Rd in Wayne County, causing lane closures and delays in the surrounding area. The crash was reported around 3:59 p.m., affecting the off-ramp and briefly impacting traffic flow for drivers exiting toward Eureka.
Michigan State Police and local emergency responders arrived at the scene shortly after the incident was reported. The crash involved two vehicles, one of which struck the guardrail near the shoulder of the ramp, sustaining moderate damage. EMS teams evaluated several individuals at the scene, and at least one person was transported to a nearby hospital with injuries described as non-life-threatening. Others were treated for minor injuries and released on-site.
Wayne County firefighters assisted in securing the crash site, cleaning up debris, and managing a minor fuel leak. Police temporarily blocked the exit ramp to facilitate emergency operations and vehicle recovery, which led to localized congestion along I-75 southbound and its feeder roads.
All lanes were eventually reopened after a full clearance, though officials urged drivers to remain cautious when approaching ramps and interchanges.
Our thoughts are with those injured in this crash, and we hope for a quick and full recovery.
