Wayne Co, MI – Two-Car Injury Crash on NB I-75 Near Schaefer Rd

Wayne Co, MI (March 24, 2025) – An injury car crash occurred on Monday evening on northbound Interstate 75 after Schaefer Road in Wayne County. The incident, reported by the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office, happened around 9:15 p.m., blocking the left shoulder and left lane.

According to authorities, the crash involved two cars. One vehicle collided with the barrier along the highway, while the other car was struck in the chain-reaction crash. The impact caused significant damage to both cars, and emergency responders quickly arrived at the scene. The driver of one vehicle sustained injuries and was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment. Fortunately, no fatalities were reported.
