Wayne County, MI – MSP Respond to Injury Crash on I-75 near MI-8

Wayne County, MI (January 27, 2023) – A traffic accident was reported in Wayne County that lived at least one person injured on Friday morning, January 27.

Just before 4 a.m., the Michigan State Police responded to the scene of a traffic crash that occurred on Interstate 75.

According to reports provided by law enforcement, a traffic accident blocked the right shoulder of southbound Interstate 75. Authorities responded to the scene of the accident and closed off the roadway near Michigan State Route 8.

The incident caused some delays in the area as emergency crews worked to clear the scene.

Paramedics were called to care for the injured victims. At least one person involved in the accident was transported to a local hospital for further medical treatment.

The Michigan State Police are currently investigating the crash.
