Wayne, MI – Auto Accident Reported on I-75 near 7 Mile Rd (Exit 58)

Wayne, MI (January 30, 2023) – A traffic accident took place in the town of Wayne on Sunday morning that resulted in injuries. At around 9:15 a.m. on January 29, the Michigan state police responded to a traffic crash that blocked Interstate 75 along the southbound side of the road.

According to officials, a traffic incident occurred in the left lane of travel on the southbound side of the interstate near 7 Mile Road at exit 58. Authorities responded to the scene of the accident and walked off multiple lanes as they worked to clear the road.

EMS was dispatched to the scene of the accident to care for the injured victims. At least one person was transported to a local hospital for further medical care.

The circumstances surrounding the accident are currently being investigated.
