Wayne, MI – Injuries Reported in I-75 Crash near Dix Highway

Wayne, MI (March 8, 2023) – At 7:05 p.m. on March 7, emergency crews were called to the scene of a car crash that took place in Wayne and ended in injuries.

Reports provided by the Michigan Department of Transportation show that an automobile accident occurred on the northbound side of Interstate 75. The incident prompted officials to close off the roadway near Exit 40 at Dix Highway.

Emergency officials remained at the scene extensively as they worked to clear two lanes that were blocked by the accident.

At least one person was injured as a result of the crash. Paramedics responded to care for the victims and transport those who required further care to area hospitals.

The circumstances surrounding the accident are currently being investigated.
