Weston, FL – Fatal Motorcycle Crash on I-75 at Royal Palm Pkwy

Weston, FL (January 29, 2026) – A motorcycle rider lost his life after a crash Tuesday night on Interstate 75 in Weston.

The crash happened Tuesday, January 27, shortly after 7 p.m. on I-75 south near Exit 15 at Royal Palm Pkwy. Florida Highway Patrol responded to reports of a serious collision involving a motorcycle and multiple vehicles.

Troopers said a Volkswagen Jetta and an Indian Challenger motorcycle were traveling southbound side by side. Investigators believe the rear left side of the Jetta struck the front right side of the motorcycle.

The impact caused the motorcycle to overturn. The rider, identified only as a man from Miami Beach, was thrown from the bike. After separating from the motorcycle, another vehicle struck him on the roadway.

The motorcyclist died at the scene. Authorities have not released his name. No other injuries were reported. The drivers of the Jetta and the other vehicle stopped and cooperated with investigators.

Video from the scene showed a yellow tarp covering the rider and the motorcycle, which was resting on its side. Troopers closed several southbound lanes while they examined evidence and documented the crash.

Police have not said whether charges are expected. Investigators continue working to determine the exact cause of the collision. Our thoughts are with the victim’s family during this difficult time.

Anyone involved in a motorcycle crash should seek medical care right away, even if injuries seem minor, and document everything at the scene if possible.
