Zephyrhills, FL – Motorcyclist Loses Life in I-75 Crash near MM 274
Zephyrhills, FL (March 10, 2023) – A motorcyclist has died as a result of a crash that took place early Tuesday morning, March 7.
Around 12:30 a.m., a 2014 Kawasaki motorcycle was heading south on Interstate 75. For reasons unknown, the vehicle collided with a 2012 Ford F250 in the area near mile marker 274.
The impact of the crash caused the motorcyclist to be ejected into an open trailer.
The motorcyclist was severely injured as a result of the crash. The victim was airlifted to an area hospital for emergency care. Authorities confirm that the motorcyclist later passed away from his injuries. The driver of the Ford F2 50, identified as a 53-year-old man from Apollo Beach, was not injured.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
