Dayton, OH – Three-Vehicle Injury Crash on I-75/Carillon Blvd.
Dayton, OH (February 1, 2026) – A three-vehicle crash on Interstate 75 southbound near Carillon Boulevard left at least one person injured on Saturday, January 31, according to Montgomery County Regional Dispatch. The collision was reported around 7:30 p.m. near the Morine-Kettering exit.
Multiple callers described the incident as severe, with one witness stating that a vehicle appeared to swerve into another before the impact.
Dispatch audio indicated distress at the scene as motorists stopped to assist before authorities arrived. A second caller reported that one vehicle struck a concrete barrier near Exit 30B following the collision. Dayton Police and Ohio State Highway Patrol officers responded and secured the area while assessing those involved.
At least one person sustained injuries and was evaluated at the scene before being transported to a local hospital for additional treatment. The extent of the injuries has not been released. All vehicles involved sustained visible damage, and traffic was slowed while crews worked to clear debris from the roadway.
Investigators are continuing to review witness statements and roadway conditions to determine how the crash occurred.
