Sumter County, FL (February 2, 2026) – A 19-year-old man from Tampa died after an early February 2 morning crash on I-75 in Sumter County. The Florida Highway Patrol responded around 5:18 a.m. to a crash in the southbound lanes of I-75 near the Lake Panasoffkee interchange at County Road 470.
